Child Aadhaar card is a very important document, who children below of age of 5. Aadhaar card is an essential identity document for all in India. It is mandatory for everyone to have an Aadhaar card. Child Aadhaar card is issued for children aged 0 to 5 years. No need for biometric for that.

Child or Baal Aadhaar card issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). It will remain valid till the baby turns 5 years old. Once your child turns 5 years old, there is need to update with their biometrics.

Required Documents for Child Aadhaar Card

Below is the list of documents required for Child Aadhaar Card:

1.Biometric Information (Photo of child).

2.Birth Certificate is mandatory for the child born after 01-10-2023).

3. Aadhaar card of Mother and/or Father or Legal Guardian

How to Apply Aadhaar card for Child?

Apply for Aadhaar card for your children then need to visit Aadhar update center along with Mother and/or Father or Legal guardian submit a request in requisite form along with valid supporting documents.

You can download Aadhar enrollment form from UIDAI website. first open UIDAI website and select main menu to My Aadhar to Enrollment and Update Form.

Download form 5 and fill all the details. Both or One of the parents/ guardians has to authenticate on behalf of the child and also give consent for enrolment of the minor by signing the enrolment form.

Submit form at enrollment center.

After completing the enrolment the operator shall return all the documents along with an acknowledgement slip.
