How to Change Address in vehicle Registration Certificate (RC Book)?

You want to change the address in the vehicle RC Book online? First, open the Parivahan website: https://parivahan.gov.in. Open this website and select the main menu to Online Service, open the drop-down menu and select Vehicle Related Services option, as shown in the image below.

Now select your state from the drop-down menu. After selecting your state, redirect to the Vahan Parivahan website.

Now open your state RTO website and on the left side, have a box to select State and RTO, then click on the proceed button.

Select from menu to Service > RC Related Service > Apply for Address Change of RC.

Enter your Vehicle Registration Number and chassis number, and click on the Verify Details Button.

Now you will get the complete details of your vehicle. Here you can see the complete information about your vehicle. Whose name is on your vehicle? When was the vehicle registered, and when is the insurance for your vehicle going to end? You can see all such information here. Select the address change option.

You should once again check your complete information thoroughly and check the name and address of the person in whose name you want to do your car. After all details are confirmed, click on the payment option below. Payment is paid online, and the application is submitted successfully.

Generate a reference number after payment of your application. This number receipt is required for further checking the status.
