ATS means Automatic Testing Stations use for vehicle mechanical testing and check vehicle fitness. The government has made vehicle fitness certificate mandatory. You must have a fitness certificate when you renew your vehicle RC book. Or if your vehicle is old, if it fails the fitness test, the vehicle is scrapped under the scrap policy.

Commercial vehicles have to undergo a fitness test every 2 years at ATS center, Testing every 2 years for up to 8 years, then annually. When a private vehicle has to be inspected after 15 years at Automatic Testing Station, when you renew your vehicle registration certificate. How to Find ATS Center Near you for Vehicle Fitness test?

You can easily find ATS center near you then first visit Parivahan official website: https://parivahan.gov.in. open this website and select from main menu to Online Services to Vehicle Fitness Testing.

Now open Automated Fitness Management System page and select your state, select District, Select Lane Type for Car, truck, bus. click on VIEW ATS CENTER button.

Show all near ATS center and contact details. if you want to book slot for test then click on Slot Book button.

Select date first and time, click on time.

Login with mobile number. enter your mobile number and click on GET OTP button.

An OTP will come on your mobile and verify it, then your slot will be booked.
