A driving licence is a necessary document when driving a vehicle on the road. If your photo is old or not clearly visible on your driving licence and you want to change your photo in driving licence, then you have come to the right place. This post has shown how to change the photo and signature in the driving licence online using the Parivahan website using faceless services.

The citizens would be able to apply for these services online and without needing to visit RTO offices multiple times. Parivahan portal has introduced a faceless and contactless service for the Driving Licence and RC book.

If you want to use faceless services, you must authenticate with Aadhaar-based e-KYC by using your own Aadhaar number. Faceless means no need to visit the RTO office for a change of photo in the driving licence. only need an Aadhar card and change your photo and signature online.

How to Change Photo and Signature in Driving Licence ?

If your photo is old or not clearly visible on your driving licence and you want to change your photo and signature on your driving licence, then you need to visit the Parivahan website : sarathi.parivahan.gov.in, open this website, and first select your State from the drop-down.

After select your state now open state parivhan website and select option DL Service (Replace of DL/ Other ).

List of DL services Page is displayed then click on Continue Button for Change Photo and signature in Driving Licence.

Enter DL (Driving Licence) number and Date of birth and click on PROCEED Button

Applicant Name with few other details are displayed on this page and Select Apply to state and RTO and click on Proceed.

Show your address details and conform your information after click on “Confirm“

Now show two option for authentication EKYC option, first is a Submit via Aadhar Authentication and second is a Submit without Aadhar Authentication. select first option submit via Aadhar Authentication, this is faceless services, you must authenticate with Aadhar base e-Kyc by using your Aadhar number.

Now enter your Aadhar number and generate opt and accept term and condition check box.

After authenticate Now select “CHANGE OF BIOMETRICS IN DL” and click on “Proceed” button.

Click on the Proceed button and you will update your photo in Driving Licence. No need to visit the RTO office if your are using Submit via Aadhar Authentication. If you submit without Aadhar authentication, then you need to visit RTO office.
