FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) is a statutory body under the administration of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It regulates standards to ensure food safety and maintain manufacture food quality and stander. Also set a standard for food products. An FSSAI license is required for those who manufacture food items.

How to Check FSSAI Application Status ?

To check the FSSAI certificate application status, first visit the official FoSCoS – FSSAI website. Open this website and select Track Application from the main menu.

Enter your 17-digit application reference number and captcha code.

Click on the submit button, and the system will show your application status on the screen.

Once your FSSAI application is received, the Authority will check your documents and details.

Different stages of application status

Registration certificate issued

If your application is complete and approved by the FSSAI authority, the FSSAI certificate will be issued.

Inspection

Inspection required further process, needs an evaluation to verify compliance with FSSAI regulations.

Rejected Application

If your application does not meet the requirements for the FSSAI certificate. It means the FSSAI certificate was not given.

Application reverted to FBO

It means the application does not meet the requirements and has been reverted to a food business operator if additional documents or information are required.
