How to Download Driving Licence Pdf Via Parivahan?
If you want to download driving licence as a PDF via Parivahan website, then first go to official parivahan website https://parivahan.gov.in/ and select from main menu to Online Services > Driving License Related Services
Now open new screen and open drop-down menu to select your state.
Select from menu to Driving Licence to Print Driving Licence.
Now enter your Application number and Date of Birth( If you do not know your application number then read this article How To Find Application Number
Click on Submit button and get your driving licence details, you can print this licence or save as pdf in your computer
How to Download Driving Licence soft copy in DigiLocker?
If you want to get Driving license softcopy in your Mobile via DigiLocker, then Open the DigiLocker official website https://digilocker.gov.in. After Click on Sign In option .
Click on Login to your account.
Enter your Aadhar, registered mobile number, or username. You will then receive an OTP on your mobile number. Enter that and click on Login.
Next, you will need to enter the 6-digit security pin that you selected when you signed up. Click on Submit.
Once you have logged in, click on Issued Documents that is present at the top-left corner and select driving licence and enter your driving licence number
You will find the option to download the Driving License in PDF.

Common Issues While Downloading Driving Licence PDF
OTP not received – Please check mobile number link with your Aadhar card, OTP receive on Aadhar link mobile only.
DL not found – If show error like a DL not fount, old recorded may not uploaded in Parivahan portal.
DigiLocker App not working– some time got error on App then try DigiLocker website or Parivahan portal.
Driving Licence PDF not opening – If your phone doesn’t have pdf read then not open pdf file, first install pdf reader.
Name/DOB mismatch error – you need to correct at RTO office.

Yes. DigiLocker-issued Driving Licence is legally valid across India under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and as per Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) notification.
Login to the DigiLocker app or website → Go to Issued Documents → Select Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) → Enter DL number and Date of Birth → Verify OTP → Your DL PDF will be added to DigiLocker.
If your DL is not found, it may not be uploaded in DigiLocker database yet. Try using the Parivahan portal or visit your RTO to update your DL records.
