IRCTC Aadhaar Authentication – How to Link Aadhaar card with your IRCTC account [Guide]
IRCTC managed by Indian railway. With the help of IRCTC, you can book train tickets online. The government notification has been issued stating that anyone who wants to book a tatkal ticket must have their Aadhaar linked to their IRCTC account. The simple way to link your Aadhaar card to your IRCTC account is given below, along with a photo. follow below steps:
First open IRCTC website and login your account.
After login, select from MY ACCOUNT to Authenticate User from top right corner.
Now enter your Aadhaar number, enter name and date of birth as per Aadhaar Card and click on Verify Details and Received OTP button.
You will get OTP on mobile number and enter this OTP and click on Submit button. now your IRCTC account link with Aadhaar card.
Common Problem when Link Aadhaar Card to IRTCTC Account

Edit your IRCTC name to match Aadhaar exactly (including spacing and initials).
Make sure that the mobile number in your IRCTC profile and Aadhaar are the same.
Sometimes IRCTC fails to connect with the UIDAI server, Try again after some time.
Only one IRCTC account can be Aadhaar-verified per person.
After submission, the page shows “Aadhaar Verification Pending” for a long time. If not verified after 2 days, log out → clear cache → log in again.

Always match Name, DOB, and Gender exactly as on Aadhaar, Use the same mobile number for both IRCTC and Aadhaar.
